Do You Wear Men’s Thongs?

If you asked this question in a crowded room, you’d likely get a mix of nervous laughter, raised eyebrows, and a few quiet, knowing nods. For years, the men’s thong has been viewed as a novelty or niche, something many men are curious about but few feel comfortable discussing openly.

But as we navigate 2026, the conversation is shifting. The question “Do you wear them?” is being replaced by a much more interesting one: “Why wouldn’t you?” When you strip away the jokes and the outdated stereotypes, you find a growing community of athletes, professionals, and average Joes alike who have made the switch.

So, do you wear men’s thongs?

Have you pushed past the social stigma, the fear of the “permanent wedgie”, or the fear of what it says about you as a man?

Have you realised you don’t need all that extra fabric to shift about and cause discomfort? Is a thin, stable strap intentionally sitting between the cheeks better than a wad of loose material trying to fight its way in there?

Do you move throughout your day feeling supported but not compressed? Does your underwear actually hold your manhood stationary, rather than just covering but not supporting? That you can move through the world as fast or slow as you need to, and your underwear stays where it should without needing to be adjusted?

Do you understand the difference between a well-designed thong and a novelty item, purchasing for the comfort and support, rather than a joke or fashion statement? Have you realised that your choice in underwear doesn’t mean that you want to perform and flaunt your body, you want your underwear to perform and work for you?

Have you ignored the outdated stereotypes about what a thong might say about your sexual preference? That a piece of fabric doesn’t indicate your gender, orientation, or anything else? That a garment that works for you is a personal choice that doesn’t affect who you are?

Have you worked out what fits your body, and taken the time to let your body get used to something new? Have you realised that feeling supported and free means you carry yourself more confidently when out and about, and that nobody around you knows or cares about what’s under your trousers?

The question “Do you wear them?” isn’t about being “bold” anymore; it’s about being informed. It’s about choosing a garment that works with your anatomy rather than against it.

So, do you?
